This is the first single from our new album!
Let me tell you that making music and great art throughout the pandemic and confinement in Paris, France, was no easy task! It felt like a lockdown in a brutal prison complex and wasn't the most creative environment to be in. So this song, Freaky Deaky, was written after the first confinement when I started to see the cracks forming in the mental health of all the people around me. We wanted to capture the claustrophic and hysteric feeling of powerlessness of the lockdowns.

Freaky Deaky speaks about the shame people felt regarding the mental problems that the confinement provoked in them. Needless to say, that’s some pretty dark subject matter right there.

We started recording Freaky Deaky right at the start of the second lockdown. I procured a bullshit authorization to work from my father-in-law in case we got stopped by the police and we went into the studio! (Yes, you needed a signed letter from a boss to go to work. Cops would fine people 135 bucks. Yes, basic rights for working class people became very medieval and patriarchal... and they still fucking are!)

Enjoy!

Our good friend, Moz-s was kind enough to contribute a remix. Check out his other projects on Bandcamp under the artist name: "Nathan Mozes".

about

Louis Lingg and the Bombs Paris, France

Louis Lingg and the Bombs are goddamn punk-rock-garage-electro-big beat-pop-anarcho saviours of the 2 and half minute pop song. The bombs they throw are musical, they come from Paris (they could only come from Paris!) and they'll grab you and demand your instant attention.
Their sound is a mix of ultra-political anarchic punk rock and fizzing children's nursery rhyme riot-pop. Formed in 2006!!!!
